Organizing for America

Organizing For America (OFA) is beginning to enter phase II of our grassroots building and we are being asked to get better organized as a local network in Cheshire county.

On Thursday May 27th at 7:00 p.m. we are having a Regional OFA grassroots meeting and training in Keene at the home of Jaime Judd 25 Cottage St. Keene NH o3431

(off Washington St. near the Keene Recreation center, park near the triangle on Washington, etc.).

you can sign up at my.barackobama.com

As grassroots, we will be “planting” a network of community leaders and members, so please come and be part of this new movement of political community organizing, we are needing you.

Our first community event will be a short canvass on Saturday, June 5th in the morning from 10:00 to noon.

We will be canvassing from three locations:

Keene:

At the Home of Beverly Lachman, 31 Robbins Road 352-2009

Westmoreland:

at the home of Paul Berch, 956 River Rd. 399-4960

Winchester:

At the home of Harriet and Art Charland, 68 Kapper Drive, 239-6521

We will be talking to first time voters from the 2009 election. If you don’t like to talk face to face, you can help by driving someone around for two hours.

If we get organized we will stave the tide on the negativity coming from Ms Palin, Fox News etc. and keep moving politics toward the positive things we all worked for during the election. Obama is working to turn the boat, but he cannot do it without us.

Please let others know about these events, and hope to see you there for one or both.

Thanks,

Julia Ferrari
